About the Role

We're seeking a
part-time Intern, IT Support
(Monday – Friday, 20 hours a week) to join our Sydney (Mascot) office. This hands-on in-office role provides both front-line technology support and general office services assistance, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our growing workspace.

This position is ideal for a technically minded student or early-career professional looking to gain practical experience in a corporate environment while developing both technical and administrative skills.

Responsibilities:

IT & Technical Support

• Provide first-level IT support to employees in the Sydney office, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Act as the on-site liaison between employees and LodgeLink's external IT partner or global IT team.
• Support and maintain workstations, monitors, and peripheral equipment.
• Assist with setup and testing of meeting room technology (Teams Rooms, A/V equipment, etc.).
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing laptops, setting up user accounts, and collecting equipment.

Office & Facilities Support

• Managing mail and courier services and coordinating deliveries.
• Help coordinate facilities and maintenance requests.
• Ensure the office remains clean, organised, and welcoming.
• Provide administrative support and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a TAFE or university program in
  Information Technology
  ,
  Computer Science
  ,
  Business Administration
  , or a related field.
• Strong technical aptitude with interest or experience in Microsoft 365 and standard business software.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to explain technical issues in simple, practical terms.
• Reliable, organised, and proactive, with a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Previous office or IT support experience is an advantage but not required.

Schedule & Flexibility

• Approximately
  20 hours per week
  , with flexibility to accommodate class timetables or other commitments.
• Available
  Monday to Friday
  , with consistent daily presence preferred (e.g. mornings or half-days).
• Some flexibility during peak activity periods.
