For over 13 years Therapy Talks has been on a mission to support families and children with evidence-based, playful, and practical speech therapy that sets them up for a confident start to school. Parent education is at the heart of what we do because we know that confident and engaged families make all the difference.
We are also looking for someone who has ideas to share, is creative & open to leading team projects and programs and someone who truly loves their work as a speech therapist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches
- Conduct assessments and develop engaging, family-friendly therapy plans
- Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports
- Actively participate in regular team discussions, case reviews, and PD
About the Role
- Supportive Team Culture – You will be surrounded by a collaborative team that values learning, and real impact.
- Full onsite admin support – You will be supported in your role with full administrative support that is provided in clinic by our practice manager.
- Senior Clinician Support – Regular supervision and mentoring is provided by an experienced speech pathologist with over 15 years clinical experience.
- Caseload – You will work with children aged 3–12 years across a mix of clinic-based and community settings providing assessment, individual supports and parent education.
- Collaboration – We work closely with families, education staff, and other health professionals.
- Ongoing Professional Development – Access regular in-house PD training, and a generous PD allowance to support your individual clinical and career goals.
- Modern Clinic Environment – Our Ravenhall space is newly-built with resources to support therapy and collaboration. You will have your own dedicated office space with a computer. Free onsite parking.
- Leadership opportunities – You will have opportunities to develop and step into leadership and project work that compliments your clinical strengths and interests.
- Clinical education– Opportunities for experienced clinicians to supervise and mentor the future generation of therapists through clinical education in collaboration with Federation University and Latrobe University
