Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting social workers to deliver safe, high-quality social work services through clinical supervision and professional development initiatives.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, school communities, and inter-agency networks to coordinate support for students experiencing mental health and social/emotional challenges.
  • Contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, practices, and protocols related to social work services in schools.
  • Supporting school communities in responding to critical incidents and emergencies as part of the school and regional response teams.

This role would suit a compassionate and experienced social worker with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students and their families.

About You

The following traits would be beneficial:

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to support and guide a team of social workers.
  • Experience in providing mental health and social welfare assessments and interventions.
