We integrate innovative methods like EMDR therapy with CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused Therapy to provide holistic, client-centered care.

Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Psychologist / Accredited Mental Health Social Worker at our Kirwan, QLD location. We are looking for casual or contracting professionals to work Saturdays with possibility for more hours during the week. You will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing individual and group counseling sessions, and developing treatment plans for clients. The role includes working with clients of various ages, from teens to adults, addressing issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. The individual will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Psychology and Mental Health
  • Proficiency in Counseling and Psychological Assessment
  • Understanding of therapeutic approaches such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Relevant qualifications and registration as a Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
  • Experience working with diverse populations and age groups
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
