Deep Speak is a modern, trauma-informed private practice based in Townsville — known for its calm, beautiful spaces and genuine, down-to-earth culture. We're passionate about delivering high-quality therapy in an environment that feels both professional and deeply human.

We're growing and inviting part-time clinicians (up to 30 hours across 4 days) and contractors (Fridays & Saturdays) to join our team. If you're a Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who values flexibility, meaningful work, and being part of a supportive team — we'd love to meet you.

The Opportunity

At Deep Speak, you'll be supported to do your best work — with consistent referrals, full admin support, and cutting-edge technology that takes the hassle out of private practice.

You'll work from thoughtfully designed therapy rooms that feel more like a sanctuary than an office, supported by a warm and collaborative team who genuinely care about each other and the people we serve.

Whether you prefer employee stability or contractor flexibility, you'll have autonomy in your schedule and the reassurance of a well-run, values-driven practice around you.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing trauma-informed therapy to clients referred through Deep Speak

Managing your caseload and maintaining ethical documentation

Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture

Participating in supervision, PD, and occasional team initiatives

What You'll Bring

Registration as a Psychologist (AHPRA) or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) (or working towards)

Medicare registration and provider number (mandatory)

Experience supporting clients with a trauma-informed, client-centered approach

A warm, grounded, and ethical clinical presence

Training or interest in EMDR therapy

A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback and growth

• Contractors: $110/session (incl. GST) + 12% super on top
