An exciting opportunity awaits, for highly motivated and experienced production Haul Truck Operators to operate our Cat 789 Trucks in our mine operations. Your role will be to haul both Waste Rock to the various dump locations and Coal to the Run of Mine receival area. This position offers the flexibility to live locally or DIDO on a 7 days on 7 days off rotating day and night shift roster. The Blair Athol Coal mine is located an easy 20 minute commute from the family-friendly township of Clermont in Central Queensland, 120 km northwest of the FIFO hub of Emerald and an easy driving distance from nearby coastal communities.

The role responsibilities will be to;

• Attain production targets relating to the production haulage operations

• Identify, report and act on all hazards whilst complying with the Health, Safety and Environment Management System

• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas

• Have a demonstrated positive work ethic

• Be an effective team player

• Uncompromising commitment to safety and the environment

• Sound judgement, decision-making and problem-solving

• Flexible in approach and able to deal with ambiguity

What you can bring to the role

• Previous production experience on Cat 789 Trucks (or similar).

• Experience operating in a mining environment.

• A positive can-do attitude with a strong passion for safety improving mining efficiencies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
