About the Role

We have an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity for experienced Truck Trainers/Assessors to join our training team on site. This is a fantastic chance to put your skills to work on one of Queensland's largest mining projects while enjoying an attractive daily rate.

As a Truck Trainer, you'll play a key role in upskilling our production workforce. Your focus will be on delivering safe, effective, and engaging training to our operators, ensuring compliance with both site and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on training and assessment for truck operators

  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to training solutions
  • Promote a strong safety culture across the workforce

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Current Trainer/Assessor qualification (Enterprise Trainer/Assessor or equivalent)
  • RII competencies for 785 haul trucks or above
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly regarded)
  • Previous experience as a Trainer in open cut operations
  • Current QLD Driver's Licence
