We are a fast growing wholesale cake manufacturer supplying cake to cafes, Pubs around melbourne. We're looking for a packer to join our dynamic team and help us spread sweetness in every bite. Our Business is renowned for its cakes, brownies and ice creams.

Working in a fast-paced yet friendly environment, this role is guided heavily around a set of well-designed and time-proven processes that will make the job easier for the successful applicant. The role does require that these procedures be followed to the letter, and most importantly an exceptionally high attention to detail. Must have kitchen experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately decorate/pack cakes based on order specifications.
  • Pack products securely to prevent damage during shipping.
  • Label and prepare packages for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or similar environment is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for inventory management.
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg).
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
