Position Title: Warehouse assistant (Pick Packer) **FULL TIME**

Status: Permanent, Full time

Reports To: Warehouse Manager/Shift Supervisor

Shift Start Times (Currently)

Shift one (1) *Afternoon/Night

  • Monday 4pm to 12am
  • Tuesday 4pm to 12am
  • Wednesday RDO
  • Thursday 4pm to 12am
  • Friday 4pm to 12am
  • Saturday RDO
  • Sunday 3pm to 11pm

Shift Two (2) *Overnight (Nigh shift)

  • Monday 7.30pm to 03.30am
  • Tuesday 7.30pm to 03.30am
  • Wednesday 7.30pm to 03.30am
  • Thursday 7.30pm to 03.30am
  • Friday RDO
  • Saturday RDO
  • Sunday 8.00pm to 04.00am

Purpose of Position The purpose of this role is to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and quality checking. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and overall customer satisfaction.

Duties: The list below is not exhaustive, and the duties/responsibilities may vary to meet the overall objectives of the company.

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery according to route schedule (pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Operate and maintain the warehouse and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
  • Ensure quality assurance guidelines are followed (HACCP, SQF etc.)
  • Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.

Essential Criteria Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven working experience as a warehouse worker for a minimum of 1 year.

Ability and Skills

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (maximum 20kg)
  • Ability to bend using safe lifting techniques
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to work in cold environment (2° to 10°)

Desirable:

  • Industry experience in food service/hospitality.
  • Forklift license
  • Pick/pack experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,300.00 – $1,500.00 per week
