This is an opportunity for an interested GPSI or Rural Generalist with Obstetrics Skills to work in one Antenatal Clinic a week at Cairns Hospital. The Antenatal Clinic provides care for pregnancies with complexity including cat B and C pregnancies, applying the most up to date evidence for Antenatal Care to a diverse population of pregnant patients .
You will work within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist team and help to deliver high-quality outpatient services to patients who require Antenatal Clinic assessment and treatment.

Purpose of the role

Support the Specialist Womens Health team in the delivery of high-quality care to patients referred for Obstetric assessment within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

Your opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Medical Officer (FRACGP/FACRRM) to support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care, working closely with the specialist Antenatal team to uphold excellence in clinical standards and individualised treatment.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) evidence as required for your employment in accordance with legislation/government policy and Directives.
