Primary objective

Provide expert services regarding systems set-up, configuration, and administration in TrakCare to support the delivery of the new Acacia health

system.

Context statement

Digital Project Services delivers very complex, high value, and high-risk ICT programs and multi-year digital transformation initiatives for core

frontline services through an inter-agency collaborative approach. Working closely with the client Agencies, the team comprises of public sector

employees and contractors working together to deliver multiple streams of activity as programs are implemented. The work environment is

dynamic, fast paced and results driven with high expectations of superior service delivery. The CCSRP is a major technology program that will

transform the delivery of health care services for Territorians by delivering a Territory-wide single, integrated health electronic record system.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Provide specialised systems analysis to NT Health setup and configuration activities of TrakCare, in accordance with Functional Group plans

and the overall program approach, including the assessment, analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of

solutions.

1. Diagnose and resolve technical problems in consultation with clients, external service providers, vendors, and DCDD colleagues.
2. Assess and analyse change requests impacting the TrakCare solution, submitted by stakeholders including changes from Health applications

managed by Digital Health Services.

4. Under the direction of the Lead System Analyst, proactively support systems development to ensure technical environments are correctly

configured, especially test, training, production, and support environments.

1. Assist to develop and implement knowledge transfer documentation and practices to effectively transition activities to Digital Health Services,

in accordance with transition plans and the program implementation approach.

1. Ensure status reports are accurate and submitted in accordance with Program requirements.

2. Develop productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and vendors.

Selection criteria

Essential

1. Well-developed knowledge of enterprise level information technology management systems and applications to successfully support and/or

undertake technical investigations, analyse and resolve issues.

1. In-depth working knowledge of the individual components of systems and/or applications and how they come together to deliver holistic,

end-to-end functionality.

1. Sound understanding of data and information integration between organisational applications.
2. Sound understanding of the entire software development lifecycle including developing and documenting requirements for the design and

deployment of system changes and enhancements.

1. Knowledge of consultation, negotiation, and conflict resolution approaches, particularly to resolve issues with multiple stakeholders.
2. Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and demonstrated success cultivating productive working relationships with

people of diverse professional and cultural backgrounds.

1. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of Commitment to Service, Innovation, Ethical Practice, Accountability,

Impartiality, Diversity and Respect.

Desirable

1. Degree level tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g., ICT, Computer Science, Business Administration.

1. Experience and general familiarity with Health industry clinical terminology, data, and systems.
