About the Role
As a
Surveyor
, you will play a critical role in providing accurate, timely surveying services across our projects. From producing 3D models for machine guidance to setting out designs for earthworks and concrete works, you'll help ensure our sites are delivered with precision and efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
- Undertake field surveying to support construction and site teams.
- Develop 3D models for GPS/UTS machine guidance.
- Set out earthworks, concrete works, and site structures.
- Collect, verify, and process survey data to ensure accuracy.
- Deliver survey sketches, long sections, cross sections, and as-built plans.
- Compute volumetric and area quantities, including stockpiles.
- Establish and adjust survey control networks.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and field staff to achieve outcomes.
- Support estimation and tendering teams with survey inputs.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years' surveying experience in the construction industry (7+ preferred).
- Proficiency in 12D, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of 3D spatial data, TIN models, RTK GPS, Total Stations, and machine guidance.
- Formal qualification in Surveying (or related field).
- White Card and unrestricted driver's licence.
- Ability to travel to various sites as required.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with Trimble GPS and UTS machine guidance systems.
- Proven track record producing high-quality survey deliverables.
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Ability to obtain relevant clearances such as Defence and DCSI.
