*The Role:
An excellent opportunity exists for a Senior Cadastral Surveyor / Team Leader to join a growing practice in Queensland. The role involves managing cadastral surveys for high-end residential developments and master planned estates, leading survey teams, and liaising with key stakeholders to deliver projects from field to final registration.
This position is ideally suited to a surveyor currently based in NSW or Northern NSW who is considering relocating to sunny Queensland*. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading cadastral survey projects for luxury residential and housing developments
- Mentoring and managing field and drafting staff
- Ensuring compliance with both NSW and QLD cadastral legislation and survey standards
- Preparing and certifying survey plans and documentation
- Building strong relationships with clients, developers, and local authorities
*The Person:*
The successful candidate will be a cadastral professional who enjoys both technical challenges and leadership responsibilities. You will bring strong residential land development experience, excellent client skills, and the ambition to step into a leadership-focused role.
Essential attributes:
- Registered Cadastral Surveyor with the NSW Surveyors Board
- Eligibility for registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland
- Experience across cadastral projects in residential and subdivision developments
- Strong understanding of cadastral legislation and compliance across jurisdictions
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability
- Motivated to relocate (or already located) in Queensland and enjoy the lifestyle benefits
