About the role

RPS' is seeking a driven and experienced Surveyor to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. As a Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality surveying services to our diverse range of clients in the construction industry. This role gives you the chance to expand your skills across a diverse range of projects, while making a meaningful impact through your work.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting land and property surveys using the latest survey equipment and techniques
  • Analysing survey data and preparing detailed reports and drawings
  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards
  • Providing technical advice and support to project teams
  • Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the surveying team

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Surveying or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Surveyor in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in the use of survey equipment and software, including AutoCAD and GIS
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards
  • Valid driver's licence
