What's the role?
We are seeking an experienced, versatile, results-oriented Hybrid Product Manager & Project Manager & Business change Manager to join our small Platforms and Projects v Business team.

This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of our Sales, Operations, Product and Technology teams.

You will be responsible for working with the business both defining the "what" and "why" behind our internal product and process initiatives (Product Management) and meticulously managing the "how" and "when" of their delivery (Project Management and Business change Management)

Your mission is to work with business leaders to understand challenges, identify opportunities for improvement via Tech capabilities, and deliver solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.

You will be a key driver in our journey towards leveraging workflow automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and AI.

The ideal candidate is a pragmatic leader who is adaptable and knows how to select the right framework of controls, processes, and systems to achieve outstanding business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders across Sales, Client delivery, Client product, Technology and Finance to translate business vision into a clear scope and prioritised roadmap
  • End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage the entire lifecycle of multiple, concurrent projects from ideation, requirements gathering, and scoping through to development, UAT, business implementation, and post-launch analysis.
  • Process Innovation: Analyse existing business workflows to identify bottlenecks and key opportunities for improvement, with a focus on implementing workflow management systems, RPA, and AI solutions.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technology teams. You must be able to work well with both business and technology stakeholders, translating business jargon into technical requirements and vice versa.
  • Transparent Communication: Champion a culture of transparency. Develop and maintain clear project plans, status dashboards, ensuring no late surprises and keeping all parties informed of progress, challenges, and decisions.
  • Requirements Definition: Expertly elicit, document, and manage business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure the final product meets the intended goals.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
  • Business Change Management: Lead structured business change management activities, including impact analysis, communications, and training, to ensure the successful embedding and adoption of new initiatives and maximise their long-term value.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a hybrid role combining Business-side Product Management and Project Management.
  • Strong professional background in the digital advertising industry (e.g., media agency, publisher, AdTech company, or a related field).
  • Experience and knowledge of structured business change management (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) to maximise the effect of embedding new initiatives is required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Must be an exceptional communicator and collaborator, adept at navigating complex environments and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Must be adaptable in the best approach (controls, process, and systems) to take to achieve the required business outcomes.

Valuable Expertise

  • Direct experience with designing, implementing, or managing Workflow Management platforms.
  • Practical knowledge or project experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and/or the application of AI/Machine Learning to solve business problems.
  • Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies and the judgment to apply them appropriately.
