About the role

We are seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team at Crowne Plaza Sydney Burwood. This part-time role will be based at our hotel in Burwood, NSW 2134 and will involve providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and checking in guests upon arrival
  • Handling guest enquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Assisting with luggage, room assignments, and key distribution
  • Resolving any guest issues or complaints in a timely and effective way
  • Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the lobby and front desk area
  • Providing information about the hotel's facilities and local attractions
  • Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or guest-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
  • Knowledge of the local area and attractions would be an advantage
