The Role
We're seeking a
Senior Account Manager
to drive retailer performance, lead sales initiatives, and support the continued growth of Dropshipzone's marketplace. This role plays a key part in achieving our GTV targets, elevating operational excellence, and fostering strong retailer relationships.
What You'll Do
Sales Leadership
- Drive sales activities to support GTV targets.
- Translate Dropshipzone OKRs into retailer-level strategies.
- Grow the active retailer base and align sales strategies with management.
- Prepare sales reports and client insights to support strategic decisions.
- Track sales trends and follow up with retailers and account managers.
- Lead weekly meetings with account managers and management.
People & Team Development
- Equip team members with practices and skills to achieve sales goals.
- Foster a supportive, collaborative team environment.
- Assist management with operational planning and decision-making.
- Provide regular updates, feedback, and development insights.
- Train team members in client management and sales-building techniques.
Operations Management
- Monitor daily sales and operational workflows.
- Support team members with operational inquiries and escalations.
- Track key retailers' and account managers' performance.
- Raise operational issues and request support where necessary.
- Contribute to cross-team collaboration to optimise systems and services.
Customer & Retailer Engagement
- Manage key retailer relationships to drive long-term growth.
- Educate new retailers through onboarding, information sharing, and best practices.
- Handle challenging client situations and escalate when appropriate.
Metrics, Insights & Reporting
- Deliver weekly reports on supplier updates and retailer performance.
- Flag abnormalities identified through data and system reports.
- Align OKRs and KPIs across the team and monitor progress.
- Share industry insights and strategic recommendations with retailers.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar account management or sales-focused role.
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Google Analytics and CMS Platforms (such as Shopify, Magento or similar)
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
