Join City of Moreton Bay as a Collection Facility Leader, and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow.
As a Collections Management and Conservation Officer, you will:
- Lead the operations of the collection storage facility to achieve appropriate environmental conditions, building maintenance, safety, security, and access controls.
- Provide guidance to staff and small project teams as required, to ensure a well-managed collection that supports exhibitions programs and events.
- Assist with the development, management and delivery of the venue's annual operational and capital budgets and projects.
About you
You're a confident and capable professional with a strong foundation in cultural facility management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality outcomes across diverse programs and venues. With a proactive mindset and collaborative approach, you bring both strategic insight and hands-on experience to the role.
You'll also bring:
- Well-developed administration and problem-solving skills, including experience conducting research, preparing reports, and using collection management information systems
- Excellent time management to support multiple concurrent exhibition and program schedules across six or more venues
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
