Protech are currently seeking Field Officers to work from the Brendale and Caboolture depots with the Fire Ant Program through Biosecurity Queensland. You will need to be able to start on 5th November
Training will be provided with a full-day classroom induction for your first day, and ongoing training and support from your team leaders.
This is an ongoing position and will require thorough and effective surveillance and treatment of insect pests throughout Southern Queensland. Apply today to join a great team, spend time outdoors, and work in a long-term ongoing role with set hours

Key Duties:
- Visual surveillance and bait treatment for insects
- Daily reporting tasks, data collection and record keeping
- Driving Company vehicle
Position mandatory requirements:
- Open car licence
- Ability to work in a team environment
- MUST have previous outdoor work experience in Landscaping, Agricultural, Arboricultural, Land Management and Conservation, Civil
- Face to Face customer service experience
- Must be physically fit as the role requires substantial walking through challenging terrain up to km per day
- Pass a drug and alcohol screen
- Can pass a Police check
