Development & Acquisition Executive

Join the team shaping the future of hospitality La Vie is on the lookout for a sharp, driven Development Executive to fuel our growth and elevate our asset management strategy.
In this pivotal role, you'll dive into financial analysis, decode market trends, and deliver operational insights that directly influence our expanding portfolio. From scouting new development opportunities to steering Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) negotiations, you'll be at the heart of high-impact decisions. Collaborating with senior leaders, hotel General Managers, and key stakeholders, you'll help chart the course for La Vie's next chapter of success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development & Investment Analysis
- Conduct feasibility studies, market research, and competitive benchmarking for proposed hotel projects.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess hotel acquisitions, conversions, and pipeline developments.
- Support brand selection and positioning analysis for new projects
Asset Management Support
- Assist in monitoring hotel performance, including revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP, and owner returns.
- Prepare and analyse monthly asset management reports, highlighting variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure reviews with hotel and corporate teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide analytical support for owner meetings, investor presentations, and management reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Revenue, Marketing, Finance) to align analysis with performance objectives.
Contracting & Transactions
- Support the due diligence process for new management agreements and acquisitions.
- Assist in preparing proposals, pitch decks, and commercial evaluations for prospective owners.
Market Intelligence
- Track competitor performance, industry trends, and regional economic developments.
- Maintain databases of pipeline deals, signed HMAs, and market opportunities.
Team Collaboration
- Work alongside the Development and Asset Management team to ensure timely delivery of analysis and reports.
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing across the team.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 2–4 years' experience in hotel investment, development, finance, or consulting.
- Strong financial modelling, Excel, and analytical skills; proficiency in presenting insights clearly.
- Exposure to hotel operations, management agreements, or asset management advisory preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of hotel market dynamics across the Asia-Pacific region desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Hospitality Management, or related field.
