Our client is a nationally expanding law firm with a strong commercial focus and a growth-driven mindset. With established offices in Queensland and plans to scale into Sydney and Melbourne, the firm is helmed by a CEO with over 30 years of experience in legal practice and firm leadership.

With a team of 20+ legal professionals, they are building a national presence by bringing on forward-thinking leaders.
About the position:
Our client is seeking an accomplished Commercial Litigation Lawyer to step into a Partner role within their Brisbane office. This is a key leadership opportunity to drive the litigation function and be instrumental in the firm's broader national growth strategy.
The role involves managing high-value, complex disputes for a mix of corporate and commercial clients — including contractual disputes, shareholder actions, regulatory matters, and commercial conflicts. You will have the autonomy to run files, shape strategy, lead business development initiatives, and build your own litigation team.
You'll also work closely with the firm's CEO, contributing to strategic planning and gaining direct mentorship from one of the industry's most experienced leaders. This is an ideal role for someone looking to elevate their career while enjoying flexibility and long-term leadership opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years PAE in Commercial Litigation (private practice)
- Strong track record managing complex dispute matters
- Experience working with corporate and commercial clients
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior lawyers and lead teams
- Business development acumen and client relationship management skills
- Strategic mindset with a proactive, commercial approach
