Corporate Performance Business Partner
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Corporate Performance Business Partner to contribute to Council's success.
- Permanent Full Time, 9-day fortnight
- Partner with varying stakeholders throughout the business
- Better Balance, Better Benefits with GRC
About the Role
This role is all about turning data into decisions. As Corporate Performance Business Partner, you'll partner with the business to drive organisational performance by enabling the monitoring, analysis, and reporting of key outcomes that matter most. Your insights will highlight opportunities, track progress, and empower leaders with the evidence they need to make impactful, community-focused decisions.
Your role will include:
- Turning data into meaningful stories that guide Council's priorities.
- Building trusted relationships across the organisation to lift performance.
- Playing a key part in shaping how Council delivers better outcomes for our community.
This is an opportunity to grow your career in a role that blends strategy, analysis, and impact.
You will bring:
- Qualifications in Business, Analytics or a related discipline, OR significant experience in performance monitoring, planning, or reporting roles.
- Proven skill in analysing complex data and transforming it into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making.
- Experience creating and maintaining performance frameworks, dashboards, and reporting cycles aligned to strategic outcomes.
- The ability to influence and partner with diverse stakeholders to deliver tangible results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including crafting high-quality reports and presenting insights in ways that inspire action.
- Excellent organisational skills with the confidence to juggle competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with performance reporting platforms (e.g. Power BI, Excel dashboards).
- A current Queensland driver's licence (or ability to legally drive in Queensland).
