About the Role

We're seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to design, develop and support complex reverse-cycle refrigeration systems across the full project lifecycle. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll bring your mechanical and electrical expertise to CAD design, BMS integration, diagnostics, and on-site technical support—ensuring our systems exceed performance, compliance, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop reverse-cycle refrigeration products and systems that meet energy efficiency, sustainability, and operational goals
  • Integrate BMS and automation solutions into system designs
  • Provide in-house and on-site technical support from concept to commissioning
  • Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fault-finding for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and cost estimates for project planning and compliance
  • Stay current with emerging HVAC&R technologies and contribute to R&D initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience in industrial or commercial reverse-cycle refrigeration engineering
  • Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and knowledge of Australian Standards/WHS regulations
  • Hands-on troubleshooting ability across both mechanical and electrical domains
  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (or related)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
