Job description

Based in Rydalmere, we are an established manufacturer and supplier of custom-made cable assemblies to local and overseas customers.

About the Role:

As a Process Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the daily operation of cable assembly and machinery. Ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols are crucial aspects of this role. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for meeting production schedules and maintaining a productive work environment.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Daily operation of cable assembly and machinery.
  • Consistently work to a high standard and ensure quality of work is maintained.
  • Adhere to safe operating procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with co-workers.
  • Meet production schedules.
  • Involves repetitive tasks and some lifting.
  • Must be available to work Monday to Friday from 7:15am to 3:30pm on a 38 hour week.
  • Able to start immediately.

Skills / Experience and Attributes:

  • Experience is preferred but not necessary; training will be provided.
  • Excellent attention to detail, quality and workmanship.
  • Good eye sight and hand skills.
  • Reliable transport to the workplace.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to monitor quality control of own work.
  • Good communication skills and good team work.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn with a 'can-do' attitude .
