Painting Trade Worker

As part of this process, we are looking for painting trade worker to join our team. You will be working closely with Sydney design team to detail the build of every project for the rest of the team to follow.

The lead painter will be knowledgeable in selecting the right material for the job. They have experience in painting with various tolls and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. They must be reliable as well as possess great attention to detail in completing their duties

**Responsibilities**
- Recommending appropriate paint for purpose
- Colour matching paint to PMS and other colour swatches
- Preparation of surfaces for painting
- Application of paint and paint like products including primers and sealers
- Selecting and purchasing the required tools for various projects
- Determining the time needed for a project
- Placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering
- Matching patterns and trimming edges
- Replacing glass in wooden and metal structures
- Undertaking any additional changes after structures have been installed at exhibitions

- 3-5 Years in a paint shop
- 3-5 Years in an exhibition or trade show environment
- Qualification as a painter
- Ability to match colours and experience mixing paint
- Ability to read plans

**Salary**: $53,000.00 - $58,300.00 per year
