Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia ANconsult Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

Company Description

At Anconsult Business Solutions, we're more than just a financial services firm - we're a growing hub of innovation and personalised support for small and medium-sized businesses. Our focus is on delivering tailored financial administration, bookkeeping, and controlling solutions that truly make a difference.

Working with us means joining a team where every contribution counts and where there's plenty of room to learn, grow, and help shape the future of the business. If you're curious about being part of something dynamic and impactful, Anconsult could be the perfect place for you.

Role Description

Anconsult Business Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and organised assistant to work closely alongside the founder. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to pick up on unfinished tasks, helping to drive the business forward.

You will support day-to-day operations by managing workflows and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. While the founder provides final approvals and oversight, you will be the essential go-to person for keeping the team aligned with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and stepping in where needed to maintain quality and consistency.

Key responsibilities include assisting with the development of SOPs, contributing to marketing content, handling sales calls, and managing first onboarding appointments until clients are fully integrated into our routine operations. The role also involves supporting invoicing and client billing processes, which are currently behind schedule.

We're looking for a "unicorn" - someone eager to learn, bring positive energy, and jump in wherever needed with strong task management and self-organisation skills. Experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools is highly desirable. This is a full-time remote position offering the chance to grow with a fast-evolving business.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Proven proficiency in administrative assistance and office administration tasks
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support decision-making
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage schedules, priorities, and documentation efficiently
  • Able to work independently while maintaining professionalism and accountability
  • Experience with remote work tools and platforms, especially Google Workspace and ClickUp, is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is a plus
  • Familiarity with financial reporting or consulting environments is advantageous
  • Comfortable and experienced with using modern AI tools and assistants, embracing continuous learning and adaptation

P.S.

Please do not apply if you have never worked as an assistant or do not have experience with the skills listed. We do not have the time or budget for extended training, and we expect you to jump in and contribute independently within one to two weeks.
