What you'll bring
Here's what will help you succeed in this role:

- Familiarity with financial systems and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated exposure to reconciliations, reporting and audit support.
- Experience supporting the delivery of change by testing and implementing new systems or workflows.
- Awareness of investment or property fund processes including management or acquisitions (an advantage).
- Understanding of how to translate financial and operational insights into clear recommendations for action
- Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, economics or related field (preferred).
To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian citizen, hold permanent residency, or have a visa that permits you to work in Australia. Successful candidates will undergo standard background checks.
How you'll contribute
- Perform daily fund operations duties such as cash reconciliation, trading activities and share reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve bank claims relating to fraudulent or disputed transactions.
- Oversee aspects of property fund management, including coordinating maintenance and insurance, managing valuations and property records, liaising with property managers and assisting with acquisition in line with investment criteria.
- Streamline and improve processes to drive efficiency, reduce manual effort, and mitigate risk.
- Support the delivery of change by actively testing, implementing, and embedding new systems or workflows
- Put the customer at the centre, balancing accuracy with empathy to deliver a seamless experience.
- Take ownership for delivering quality outcomes by acting with integrity, reliability, and commitment to Raiz's standards and values.
- Contribute to a collaborative cross-functional environment where knowledge is shared, colleagues are supported, and customer experience standards are consistently high.
Key challenges
- Navigating the complexity of financial operations and balancing competing priorities between operational tasks, compliance requirements, and project deliverables while ensuring absolute accuracy under time pressure.
- Adapting quickly to the fast-paced nature of fintech innovation, significant regulatory changes, and evolving customer expectations.
- Partnering with colleagues across operations, finance, compliance and others to ensure aligned priorities and smooth, efficient delivery of outcomes
