Mona is looking for a passionate, hands-on Food & Beverage Supervisor to help lead the daily operations across two of our most vibrant venues:

  • The Wine Bar a relaxed, stylish space serving up Moorilla wines, Moo Brew beers and tasty shared plates
  • The Lawns our buzzing outdoor hotspot, where fast-paced service meets laid-back vibes and live music

This role is for someone with an eye for detail, who thrives on the floor and leads by example. You'll be supporting the team, maintaining standards, and contributing to the complete, unique Mona guest experience.

The Gig
  • Coordinating the team and supporting smooth, high-energy operations across both venues.
  • Following procedures for opening & closing.
  • Maintain and elevate standards of food and beverage service.
  • Offering on-the-job coaching and guidance to help the team thrive in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
  • Ensure efficient service without compromising quality or the guest experience.
  • Regularly conduct detailed stocktakes and equipment inventories.
  • Champion Mona's core values, including responsible OH&S practices, RSA compliance, and our Zero Trash philosophy.
  • Handling guest feedback.
  • Assist the Venue Manager with essential administrative tasks.
The You
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, or venue.
  • 4+ years of hands-on hospitality experience overall.
  • Staying calm under pressure and a passion for leading from the front.
  • Experience with POS systems and basic cash-up procedures.
  • Great leadership qualities along with the ability to inspire, train and develop the team
  • Exceptional communication skills with employees, customers and clients.
  • A current and valid Tasmanian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
  • Full availability Thursday to Monday, including weekends and events.
