Mona is looking for casual Audio & Technical Operators to join the Mona Music Team, supporting our busy summer period.
We're a dynamic group that manages an exciting array of programs - our main focus is the Music at Mona program which showcases emerging and talented Tasmanian artists alongside touring national and international acts. We also deliver musical productions during Dark Mofo, along with Galas, Functions, Weddings, and Parties. We're the technical support team for the Mona Music Ensemble, who occupy a full-time residency in Faro Bar + Restaurant.
In short, if there's anything musical or audio-based in or around the museum, we take care of it. If you love making things sound great, look great, and feel great - you'll fit right in with our team.

- Artist liaison duties, including meeting/greeting artists, site briefings, artist hospitality, and ground transfers.
- Maintain the safe operation and cleanliness of back-of-house equipment and performance spaces.
- Contribute to administrative tasks and paperwork of the production department when required.
- Implement Mona's Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies and practices.

- Team player who is willing to support across different areas of the organisation and uphold Mona's reputation through professional conduct.
- Well presented, with a professional, positive, and respectful manner.
- Capable of performing manual handling and lifting tasks safely, working within Mona's Health, Safety and Wellbeing policies and practices.
- Possess a valid Class C driver's licence.
