Void Bar Barista

Mona is on the hunt for an experienced Barista to join our Void Bar team. Our incredible Void Bar is located at level 3 in the museum and, although this bar is known for its cocktails, it is also the perfect place for our visitors to coffee-up once underground or reinvigorate after resurfacing from their artwork adventures. The importance of this role is paramount, crafting artisan coffees all day and providing all of the caffeinated goods to the masses (decaf is also acceptable).

The Gig:

• Making coffee - good coffee, great coffee The best coffee
• Successfully operating and maintaining Barista equipment
• Working autonomously as well as within a team
• Communicating effectively with supervisors, management, colleagues, the kitchen and other relevant business units where required
• Delivering exceptional customer service, providing advice and recommendations to guests
• Day time hours only hours per week
• RSA essential

The You:

• Two years experience in a similar position
• Extraordinarily passionate about coffee
• A positive and engaging personality
• Strong Barista skills
• Flourish under pressure, always maintaining a personable customer approach
• An appreciation of appropriate safe work practices and procedures
• Flexibility around work as weekends are a must
