Join Midpoint Psychology as a Registered/Clinical Psychologist - Flexible Hours, Supportive Team.
About Midpoint Psychology
Midpoint Psychology is a boutique, heart-led private practice located in beautiful Fannie Bay, NT. We're known for our evidence-based, trauma-informed care — and for creating a calm, genuinely supportive environment where both clients and clinicians feel held, respected, and able to grow. Our vision is to cultivate a world of safety and kindness from within, where every healing journey contributes to a brighter shared tomorrow.
We believe your workplace should replenish you — not drain you.
The Role
We're seeking down-to-earth, compassionate psychologists who value meaningful connection — both with clients and with the team around them.
Whether you're looking to reduce burnout, escape agency chaos, or simply reclaim more autonomy and balance, this role gives you the breathing space to do your best work. At Midpoint, we've created a calm, well-organised practice that lets you show up as the psychologist you trained to be — present, resourced, and supported.
You'll work with adult clients (private, MHTP, and workers' compensation) in a thoughtfully designed space that fosters calm and clarity, with no assessments. Your clinical voice will be heard, your expertise respected, and your time honoured.
If you're seeking a practice that prioritises both client care and practitioner wellbeing — we'd love to meet you.
What We Offer
- Flexibility: Choose your own hours, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. Adjust your schedule at any time.
- Full Support: Administrative tasks, including reception, billing, and appointment reminders, are taken care of for you, allowing you to focus solely on your clients.
- Generous Remuneration: Receive great rates between $160.00 and $180.00 per session inc GST, with opportunities to increase.
- Guaranteed Income: You are even paid for missed appointments or late cancellations, ensuring stable earnings.
- Collaborative Environment: You'll have your own beautifully furnished therapy room and be part of a supportive team where you feel valued and connected, within a culture that genuinely cares about your professional and personal wellbeing.
Client Base
Our clients are aged 16+, referred under a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), through workers' compensation, or paying privately. This allows you to focus fully on the therapeutic process without added administrative burden.
Operating Hours
In-person services are available during regular business hours (9:00 am – 5:00 pm ACST) with options if disired for evening and weekend appointments to accommodate both clients' and practitioners' needs.
What You'll Need
- AHPRA registration
- Eligibility to provide services under the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS)
- ABN and the ability to work as a sole trader
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- Police & WWC check
Why Join Us?
At Midpoint Psychology, this isn't just a job – it's a place to do meaningful work in an environment that truly supports you. We offer more than just admin support – we provide a calm, caring space where your wellbeing and professional growth are valued. You'll be part of a thoughtful, collaborative team that shares your values, with opportunities to connect, reflect, and thrive – without the burnout.
