About Us

Stepping Stones in Life Therapy Service is a well-established, multidisciplinary allied-health clinic in Darwin, NT. Our team includes Psychologists, Occupational therapists, Speech pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Art Psychotherapists, Counsellors, allied health assistants, and support staff delivering high-quality services across clinic, home, school, telehealth and remote NT communities.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinic Leader to oversee day-to-day operations, support staff, drive service quality, and contribute to the strategic growth of the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic clinical environment and values collaboration, leadership, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain 10 billables per week
  • Lead and support a multidisciplinary allied-health team
  • Oversee daily clinic operations and workflow
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to clinicians and support staff
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with NDIS and clinical standards
  • Support onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs, service quality, and reporting requirements
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and values-driven team culture
  • Liaise with families, schools, support coordinators, and external agencies
  • Contribute to strategic planning, service improvement, and organisational growth
  • Uphold compliance, risk management, and safeguarding standards
About You

You will excel in this role if you are:

  • A confident leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in allied-health, disability, mental health, or similar sectors
  • Skilled in supporting, mentoring, and developing staff
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage a busy clinical environment
  • Knowledgeable about NDIS, clinical governance, and service standards
  • Committed to client-centered, evidence-informed practice
  • Passionate about high-quality service delivery and team wellbeing
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Allied Health, Psychology, OT, Speech Pathology, Behaviour support, Physio)
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Relevant leadership qualification e.g. Cert IV, Diploma
  • Ochre Card, NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check
  • First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
