We are expanding into psychology services. About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development and delivery of our Psychology Service.
The Clinical Lead is responsible for leading and managing the team of practitioners, providing strategic clinical leadership, supervision and governance.
You will oversee the strategic and clinical development, and ongoing management of this Psychology service. The service will focus on providing neurodiversity-affirming assessment and support services to individuals participating in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) or other equivalent schemes, supporting them to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide clinical leadership and strategic direction for practitioners delivering services.
- Manage, mentor, and supervise a team of practitioners, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Support workforce planning and caseload allocation to ensure service demand is met effectively.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, ethical, and evidence-based interventions aligned with NDIS requirements, relevant AHPRA requirements (e.g. PsyBA Code of Conduct), relevant legislation and internal policies.
- High level stakeholder engagement with clients, families and external stakeholders such as NDIS providers and professional networks.
- Facilitate clinical supervision, peer review and oversee training for practitioners.
- Manage caseload, including conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions at individual and group levels.
- Lead to ongoing development of service delivery models that align with current evidence and meets participant needs.
What we're looking for
- AHPRA Registered Psychologist with a minimum of 5 years' experience
- Proven track record of clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, carers, and other professionals
- In-depth knowledge of evidence-based psychological interventions and best practice in mental health care
- Proficient in using client management systems and data analysis to drive service improvements
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge
- Understanding of the NDIS framework, including experience working with NDIS participants or similar models
