About the Role

We're looking for a versatile Legal Counsel – Corporate & Commercial (Wagering & Media) to join our high-performing Legal team. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to work across our wagering operations, media and broadcasting arm (SKY), and other exciting parts of the business such as sponsorships and strategic partnerships.

Reporting to the General Counsel – Wagering & Corporate, you'll partner closely with business stakeholders to provide practical, solutions-focused advice on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters. You'll help negotiate and document key arrangements, support strategic initiatives, and ensure our operations comply with relevant laws and regulatory obligations.

More specifically, you will:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including supply, sponsorship, media rights, and partnership arrangements.
  • Advise on legal issues relating to wagering operations and media broadcasting activities.
  • Support strategic and operational projects, including product launches, marketing campaigns, and technology initiatives.
  • Provide clear, commercially focused advice on governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Legal team to share knowledge and deliver consistent, high-quality legal support across the business.

About You

You're a proactive and adaptable legal professional with a broad corporate and commercial background. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy variety in your work, and are skilled at building strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders.

You bring:

  • Significant post-admission experience in corporate and commercial law, gained in-house or in private practice.
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to balance legal precision with commercial pragmatism.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in regulated industries.
