Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and inspire our production teams, coaching team leaders and team members.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Procurement, OH&S, and Warehouse teams to achieve seamless operations and meet production goals.
  • Process Optimisation: Oversee the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality at every step.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all products meet our high standards by implementing quality control measures and diving deep to understand defect root causes.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, including labour and infrastructure, to meet production service levels and financial targets.
  • Safety Leadership: Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OH&S regulations and fostering a safe work environment.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a production management role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment or a hands one supervisor looking to take their next step.
  • Experience within a print or bindery environment is desirable
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing and motivating teams and taking accountability for teams goals
  • Exceptional organisational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for prioritising tasks under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Understanding people is a key part to the success of this role
  • Solid understanding of OH&S regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
