Delivery Driver/Packer

Bakers Delight Mosman is looking to fill the role of delivery driver. We appreciate you taking the time to read through the position and apply for the role. Requirements of the role:

  • Accurately, safely and efficiently deliver products to customers on a predetermined delivery route
  • Ability to start shift at 3:00am and finish approximately 9:00am
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed
  • Pack the products neatly and provide customers with the correct quantities
  • Provide the highest level of service and product integrity for every customer by safe and timely delivery of orders
  • Adhere to delivery schedule with ability to adapt to any last minute changes
  • Required to operate Transporter Van (automatic transmission) for extended periods of time and refuel when needed
  • Maintain and organise bread crates and packaging materials to ensure a clean and efficient workplace is kept
  • Responsible for ensuring the duties of their position are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner
  • Responsible for offloading products to each client and place correct products to the clients specifications

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid driver's licence with an acceptable driving record
  • Knowledge of NSW road rules
  • Must be able to confidently drive around Sydney (also during peak hour)
  • Own a phone for navigating and communication
  • Need access to reliable transportation to get to Mosman (delivery van provided at the bakery)
  • Previous delivery driver experience is advantageous but not necessary

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
