Greenfern Health is a private practice based on the sunny Central Coast, NSW. We offer Occupational Therapy services to teenage and adult NDIS and private paying participants. Our area of specialty is working with individuals with psychosocial disabilities, as well as individuals with intellectual disabilities, ASD, ADHD and more. This position is a work from home/ mobile occupational therapist hybrid role requiring the chosen candidate to travel to and from client's homes or community based locations within the Central Coast. The chosen candidate will be working alongside a small but very fun team

Job details:

Opportunity for a mobile Mental Health Occupational Therapist to complete the following job duties:

• Conduct relevant assessments
• Deliver skill building therapy supports
• Create or source resources for clients where relevant
• Recommend and complete trials for assistive technology and minor home modifications where relevant
• Complete report writing and documentation tasks
• Complete clinical liaison with clients and stakeholders
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and their supports
• Work alongside other interdisciplinary team members to support the participant
• Complete any necessary administrative tasks

About the position:

Role inclusions:

• We are looking for a candidate who can ideally commit to a few days of work per week (7.5 hours per day), however this is flexible. This role has potential for increasing hours if you wish to do so.
• This role is a contract position
• Optional supervision and mentoring
• Billing and certain administration tasks are handled for you by the admin officer
• Based on the Central Coast
• Work in a supportive environment - dedicated admin, clinical and operational supports

About You:

Greenfern Health is looking for a contract Occupational Therapist who:

• Is ideally able to work a few days per week (7.5 hours per day), flexible depending on needs and preferences.
• Has a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
• 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
• Experience working within the NDIS/ private practice sector
• Must be eligible to work in Australia
• Strong communication skills
• Has current general registration with AHPRA
• Has obtained paid working with children check (WWCC)
• Has current unrestricted driver's license and access to a reliable car with insurance (for mobile services)
• Has obtained current Police Check
• Has obtained NDIS worker check clearance
• Has their own public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance (or willing to obtain)
• Current First aid certificate and CPR
• Completion (or willing to complete) the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module
• Flu and Covid Vaccines is encouraged
