The Opportunity

We're seeking Occupational Therapists (new graduate or experienced) to join our expanding team in Cessnock, serving clients across the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas.

This role offers variety, professional growth, and the chance to make a tangible difference in people's lives. You'll deliver client-centred, evidence-based therapy across multiple settings — including clinic, home, and community environments.

Your Role

As an Occupational Therapist with Optimum Health Solutions, you will:

• Provide functional capacity assessments, ADL training, equipment prescription, and home modifications under the NDIS and other funding streams.
• Support clients to achieve meaningful goals across physical, psychosocial, and cognitive domains.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver holistic outcomes.
• Engage in regular supervision, case reviews, and professional development sessions.
• Manage a varied caseload across paediatric, adult, and disability clients.
• Contribute ideas to continuously improve service delivery and client outcomes.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• A qualified Occupational Therapist (Bachelor or Master's degree).
• Eligible for AHPRA registration (or pending).
• Passionate about helping others achieve independence and improved quality of life.
• A strong communicator and collaborative team player.
• Organised, curious, and proactive about learning and professional growth.
• Holds a current driver's licence and has access to reliable transport.
