About the role

CHC St Louis Estate is seeking an experienced Retirement Village Manager to oversee the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our state-of-the-art retirement village located in Claremont, WA. This is a contract role of 2 days a week job sharing with the existing manager until the end of the year , offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our thriving community.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the retirement village, ensuring a high standard of service and quality of life for residents
  • Oversee resident engagement and customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally
  • Manage and lead the village staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and internal policies
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders such as healthcare providers and government agencies
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the retirement village

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar retirement village or aged care management role
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, staff and external partners
  • Strong commercial acumen and budget management skills
