About the role
CHC St Louis Estate is seeking an experienced Retirement Village Manager to oversee the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our state-of-the-art retirement village located in Claremont, WA. This is a contract role of 2 days a week job sharing with the existing manager until the end of the year , offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our thriving community.
What you'll be doing
- Manage day-to-day operations of the retirement village, ensuring a high standard of service and quality of life for residents
- Oversee resident engagement and customer service, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally
- Manage and lead the village staff
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and resident satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with external stakeholders such as healthcare providers and government agencies
- Contribute to the strategic development of the retirement village
What we're looking for
- Significant experience (5+ years) in a similar retirement village or aged care management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, staff and external partners
- Strong commercial acumen and budget management skills
