About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled and proactive Hotel or Motel Manager to lead operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences across our regional properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of operations—reservations, front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Manage bar, restaurant, conference, and function services
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards (liquor, gaming, OHS)
- Supervise staff recruitment, training, and morale
- Handle budgeting, purchasing, financial record-keeping, and reporting
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address feedback effectively
- Coordinate with local services to support guests with tourism, transport, or information services
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Hotel or Motel Manager or in a similar role
- Proven leadership and organizational capability
- Strong customer service and financial management skills
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance procedures
- Ideally, qualifications such as an AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism (preferred but not essential)
