**The Opportunity**

The rapidly changing nature of work, the expanding digital economy, and the growing demand for flexible educational pathways, presents TAFE NSW with enormous opportunity to help shape and grow the NSW economy.

TAFE NSW is currently developing a new program in Hotel Management, and we are inviting experienced and passionate industry professionals to come and join us in this journey to help shape and deliver this dynamic course.

The Teacher of Hotel Management is responsible for delivering educational programs that facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**About you**

You are enthusiastic about sharing your extensive industry experience in hotel and resort management and supporting the next generation of student learners.

In the role, you will be able to not only impart your technical skills but also the industry standard culture to your students. Equally, its important you understand current and emerging industry skills in this profession so TAFE NSW can be responsive to deliver a pipeline of highly skilled and in-demand workers.

**To be successful in this role you must have**:

- Post graduate qualification; being a graduate certificate, graduate diploma or a masters degree, related to hospitality management.
- Three (3) years relevant industry experience within the last 3-5 years, with at least one (1) years’ experience in an Australian workplace context.
- Highly desirable - management experience in five-star hotels or resorts.
