Property Management Assistant

Employment Type: Permanent Part Time (Monday - Friday)

About the Role:

Join a friendly, fast‑paced property management team known for same‑day customer service, well‑run inspections, and a strong safety culture. You'll support senior staff, manage tenant enquiries, and help keep our portfolio in excellent condition—all with the flexibility of a permanent part‑time schedule.

What We're Looking For:

ESSENTIAL

Strong Communication and customer-care skills

Current Drivers Licenses

Stable time management and follow-up capability

Organised, flexible, and able to work in a team environment

Responsive and quick to earn trust with owners, tenants, and trades persons.

DESIRABLE

Prior Assistant Property Management Experience

VCAT exposure

Up-to-date knowledge of tenancy legislation and best practice

Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to resolve conflicts and manage challenging stakeholders.

Proficient at finding accurate information fast and turning it into clear insights.

What You'll do:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service:

Promptly handle phone and email enquiries; same‑day response is expected.

Property Management:

Schedule and conduct routine, entry, and vacate inspections

Prepare condition, vacate, and rent - increase reports

Lodge maintenance requests and follow up to completion

Keep accurate records, letters and photographs for each tenancy

General:

Uphold workplace health-and-safety standards in line legislation and company policies.

Ready to assist with broader tasks beyond core duties when necessary.

Systems & Equipment:

Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook)

Internal Explorer / Modern browsers

Industry-specific property management software
