Job details
Do you have a passion for providing exceptional technical support and ensuring seamless IT operations? As a Technology Support Officer at GOTAFE, you will be a key player in maintaining and improving our ICT systems, providing frontline support to staff and students, and ensuring optimal performance of network infrastructure. This is your chance to work in a dynamic team, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to enhancing digital solutions that support learning and development.
As the successful candidate you will have:
- Knowledge in PC and network hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Hands-on experience with network infrastructure, cloud-based telephony and/or database functionality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical issues efficiently.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience.
If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide:
- A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date)
- A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application)
- A current Driver's Licence (Car).
The salary for this role is PACCT 4 under the GOTAFE Enterprise PACCT Agreement 2023.
