Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Carole Park, Brisbane for a Fibreglass Composites Technician. The technician will be responsible for preparing moulds, laminating fibreglass, and finishing composite parts to a high standard. Daily tasks include using hand tools and power tools, interpreting technical drawings, mixing and applying resins and catalysts, and performing quality checks to ensure the structural integrity and aesthetics of the products.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Fibreglass laminating, mould preparation, and creating composite structures
  • Latest Chopper gun and polyutrethane spraying
  • Mould making
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
  • Attention to detail for performing quality checks and ensuring high standards
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
  • Physical stamina and manual dexterity for handling fibreglass materials and tools
  • Relevant industry certifications and prior experience are advantageous
  • Commitment to safety standards and protocols
