The island is one of the closest Whitsunday islands to the mainland (Airlie Beach) with spectacular 30-minute ferry ride to work each day.

About the Role:
In this role you will support the resort's finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial activities. Working closely with the Director of Finance and wider resort leadership team you will play a key part in delivering timely reporting and contributing to the resort's financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and receivable
Complete bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow
Assist with payroll processing and compliance
Prepare monthly reports and support budgeting/forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
Supporting the Director of Finance with audits and end-of-month processes
Skills and Experiences:
About You:
Relevant accounting qualifications required
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role (hospitality experience is a plus)
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Experience preparing for and supporting audits
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
