Accounts Administrator – Full-Time Mako Marine Centre Bobbin Head
Are you an experienced Accounts Administrator looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and motivated team?
Join Mako Marine Centre, a leader in the marine industry, providing high-quality boat painting and shipwright services. We're based in the stunning Empire Marina, Bobbin Head – a truly unique place to work, right in the heart of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
We're growing and looking for someone who can support our customers, suppliers, staff, and Directors with confidence and professionalism.
What You'll Do
- General office administration to keep everything running smoothly
- Manage the accounts inbox daily
- Prepare and process invoices
- Handle Xero accounting (AP, AR, payroll, inventory)
- Create jobs and allocate staff using our CRM (Tradify)
- Onboard new customer accounts
- Issue purchase orders and allocate costings
- Respond promptly to customer and supplier queries
- Assist with HR tasks (job postings, onboarding new staff)
- Support with business and accounting functions, including month-end processes
- Provide general admin support to our Directors
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years office administration experience
- 1+ year experience using Xero
- 2+ years payroll experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to prioritise tasks independently
- Friendly and approachable with a positive "can-do" attitude
- A valid driver's licence and your own vehicle (our location is not accessible by public transport)
