Established in 1954, Dalby State High School is a proud Queensland state school known for innovation, excellence, and opportunity. Your Responsibilities
As the Deputy Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assist Head of Campus to lead the campus to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality outcomes for all stakeholders, in both living and learning contexts, in a residential setting.
Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling and boarding and use these to inform practice and future planning for the campus.
Provide quality leadership and capacity building for all staff in behaviour support strategies and aligning (where possible) essential skills for classroom (campus) management.
Manage and resolve behaviour issues and / or student well-being issues, including OneSchool reporting, provision of consequences or intervention and communication with parents and other school staff.
Provide strategic oversight for the staffing and structure of the Residential Study Programme, ensuring staff are effectively allocated to meet the identified academic needs of students.
Design and develop an academic coaching model tailored to support identified students
Develop and implement student leadership programmes suitable for students in a residential environment.
Oversees strategic vision and direction of signature agricultural programs (Innovate Ag).
Manages campus wellbeing initiatives for both staff and students.
Coordination of all enrolment processes for all residential students.
Coordination of Campus awards and graduation ceremony.
Coordination of Campus marketing initiatives.
Residential enrolment growth
Attendance of all Bunya students
A-C Achievement for all Bunya students
Vocational Certificate Completion for all Agricultural Certificates
A-C Achievement for Subjects
