About Teelba State School
Teelba State School is located 215 km from Dalby on the Teelba Road. The school is situated within the Teelba community alongside the Teelba Gun Club. Our closest town is Glenmorgan, which is 65 km away. The school was established in 1966 and services a farming community (beef and grain predominantly). Our school is serviced by twice weekly mail delivery.
Education in our small school is a unique environment where students from Kindy to Year 6 regularly interact in small and large group situations, within and across year levels, as they access the curriculum. Our school operates a 9 day fortnight.
About the Role
Responsibilities include:
Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.
Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.
Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces.
Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment and fans.
