The Opportunity

Our Sydney real estate team is seeking a career conveyancing paralegal to join our leading team on a full-time, permanent basis. The will include conveyancing, leasing and assisting with registration and other dealings with the titles office.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Compiling contracts for sale of land.
  • Assisting with property due diligence, including undertaking and reviewing statutory enquiries.
  • Attending to PEXA settlements (or paper settlements, if required), including working with other teams on property financing settlements.
  • Liaising with our search and stamping agents.
  • Liaising with the NSW Land Registry Services to arrange registration of dealings (including leases).

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience as a paralegal in property.
  • Experience with and a good working knowledge of PEXA.
  • Ability to run straightforward property settlements independently.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to utilise technology in managing large projects (e.g. Excel).
  • Team-focused and the ability to work independently, taking a proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service and a desire to interact with the market and build client relationships.
