About the role

Coho Group Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Body Truck / Truck & Dog Operators to join our team on a contract basis in Roma, QLD. As a key member of oil and gas drilling operations, you will play a vital role in transporting and land spraying drill waste material.

What you'll be doing

  • Operating our Landspray Units, which includes a custom built tri-axle truck with vacuum tank and agitator system, and a quad axle dog with vacuum tank and agitator system.
  • Drill Rig support. Transporting water, mud and drilling waste materials between work sites, land spray sites and/or disposal facility.
  • 12-hour shifts, 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am. Alternating each swing.
  • Daily pre-start inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working order
  • Submitting Daily Reports
  • Open communication with your site representative and Coho Supervisor
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

  • Valid open HC or MC driver's licence
  • Australian work rights required for this position
  • Experienced 18 speed road ranger transmission.
  • Minimum 1 year of truck and dog/heavy vehicle operating experience
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferred, however mining or other heavy transport experience will be considered
  • Knowledge of relevant transport, heavy vehicle, and workplace health and safety regulations
  • Hands on operators, forward thinkers and planners
